TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former member of the House of Representatives (DPR) Markus Nari testified for Andi Narogong in the electronic ID card or e-KTP graft case today, May 3. KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah says that Markus’ questioning is aimed at investigating further about the number of e-KTP project meetings.
“We’re confirming and studying about the meetings and communications that happened during the budgeting process,” Febri said today.

Other than that, according to Febri, investigators are figuring out Markus' role in the whole process and his relationship with the defendant and other witnesses. “Allegedly, a number of people received the e-KTP money.”
Markus Nari was questioned by KPK investigators until 16:00 PM today. He said that he was only asked about the state budgeting.
Markus explained that the budgeting process had no deviations. He argued that the DPR was merely working under existing policies.
According to the e-KTP graft court indictment, Markus allegedly received Rp4 billion. However, he denied the allegation at the trial.
