TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo on Saturday (30/7) attended the 23rd National Family Day that is held in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara province.
The President arrived at the event’s venue at the Main Plaza of East Nusa Tenggara province at 8:30 am, while the event began at 8:50 am.
This year’s National Family Day focuses on the participation of family by emphasizing on four concepts:"Reuniting, interacting, empowering and sharing".
This year’s National Family Day is expected to become a momentum to build nation’s chacaters and to bring prosperity for the Indonesian people.
Erni Guntarti Tjahjo Kumolo, committee chairman of this year’s National Family Day, said that those four concepts have been manifested in a number of activities done since 29 June.
"We hope that this year’s National Family Day can also become a magnet for synergy among various sides,” she added.
