TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo has told all of his ministers to immediately conduct organizational audit at each ministry during his opening address in the first cabinet meeting on Monday, October 27, 2014.

“Conduct organizational audit,” said Jokowi. “Which one has been executed, which one hasn’t and focus on establishing organizations that work for the people.”

Jokowi ordered Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Yuddy Chrisnandi to oversee the audit. “If necessary, streamline the organizations so that they can work more effectively and efficiently,” said Jokowi.

Before the meeting, 34 ministers were inaugurated by Jokowi at the State Palace on Monday. The president, along with Vice President Jusuf Kalla and all the newly-installed ministers, then gathered in the yard of the palace for a photo session.

Jokowi named his cabinet the Working Cabinet, which comprises 34 ministries—four of them are coordinating ministers.
